President - Angela Pointer
Angela Pointer is the President of the Atlanta Association of Healthcare Recruiters. She has been a Registered Nurse for 20 years and has spent the last 10 years in Human Resources/Recruitment and Supplemental Staffing. She currently serves as the Talent Acquisition Manager at GoHealth Urgent Care. Angela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Clemson University and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Psychology from Walden University. Additionally, she is a Certified Healthcare Recruiter (CHCR) through the National Association of Healthcare Recruiters.
Sue Dunlap was elected Director of Finance for AAHCR for the 2016 staring term. She has just recently joined Resurgens as their Director of Human Resources. Sue has over 14 years of human resource experience in healthcare. Prior to joining Resurgens, she was the HR Manager with Accord Services, a customer service focused home health staffing agency that takes care of patients with brain and spinal cord injuries. She had also previously worked at DeKalb Medical for 19 years, with her last role overseeing recruitment and employee relations for the organization.
Sue holds a Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification, as well as a Society of Human Resource Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification. She also has a Bachelors’ Degree in Biology from Georgia State University.
Director of Market Development and Events – Caprisha Spence
Caprisha A. Spence was elected for the 2016 term as the Director of Market Development and Events for AAHCR. She is the Human Resources Coordinator for Accord Services, beginning her career both in human resources and healthcare. Prior to joining Accord Services, Caprisha has spent over ten years in the Financial Industry for companies that include Wells Fargo, Suntrust, Synovus, and IBM Federal Credit Union.
Caprisha is a graduate from Kennesaw State University, holding a Bachelors’ of Science Degree in Psychology. During her undergraduate term at KSU, she had the opportunity to intern for an Industrial Organizational Psychology firm, Turknett Leadership Group. It was at Turknett Leadership Group where the love for Human Resources was sparked. She is also an active member for the Atlanta Chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

I love solving problems and helping clients succeed, in an industry that has evolved dramatically due to the changing ways people obtain and share information. In my free time, I am mom to a college freshman and a 4 legged bundle of fur and love. I volunteer and try hard to be the change I want to see in the world.
